Developer Agreement Notice
By utilizing our endpoints, developer dashboard, or database queries, you acknowledge that you are fully bound by these terms. Violations will result in instantaneous API key revocation and console lockout.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, retrieving API keys, or querying endpoints on SportCheap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws, and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and our APIs.
2. License & API Usage
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our sports data feed endpoints solely for your internal development, prototyping, and application deployment, subject to the constraints of your subscription plan. You must not: (a) share your API key with third parties, (b) resell, rent, or distribute data fetched from our platform for commercial data scraping purposes, or (c) bypass or defeat any rate-limiting mechanisms.
3. API Key & Account Security
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account passwords. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your keys or breach of account security. Any query traffic associated with your API key will be considered your authorized activity.
4. Subscription Billing & Limits
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly cycle. If you exceed the monthly call volume allocation or rate limit of your tier, SportCheap reserves the right to throttle requests, charge overages, or require an upgrade to a higher tier to preserve system stability for all clients. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through the console.
5. Intellectual Property & Attribution
The API schemas, console layout, logos, documentation, and the SportCheap name are the exclusive intellectual property of SportCheap. All third-party team logos, trademarks, and leagues displayed or returned in API responses belong to their respective copyright holders. We offer these for placeholder and testing purposes in line with fair use.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The API endpoints, databases, and website tools are provided 'as is' and 'as available'. SportCheap makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, latency, or uninterrupted availability of live scores, fixtures, standings, or historical statistics. Data feeds are compiled from public domains and third-party sources and may contain delays.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall SportCheap, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption) arising out of the use of or inability to use the API services, even if notified of the possibility of such damage.
8. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Use at any time. By continuing to access the API console or query endpoints after amendments are published, you consent to be bound by the updated terms.
